Ruth’s Hemp Pesto

Makes approximately 1 ½ cups.

Ingredients:

  • 2 cups fresh basil leaves
  • ½ cups SoftHemp™
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3 tablespoons Ruth’s Certified Organic Hemp Oil
  • 2 tablespoons fruity olive oil
  • Salt and freshly ground pepper to taste
  • 1 cup butter

Directions:

  1. Clean and dry basil.
  2. Chop basil in food processor.
  3. Add SoftHemp™, cheese, garlic, Ruth’s Hemp Oil and 1 tablespoon of the olive oil. Process in short bursts until desired consistency.
  4. Add remaining olive oil optionally, depending on preferred taste.
  5. Add salt and pepper.
