11 VARIETAL OILS

Avocado Oil
Loriva® Avocado Oil is expeller pressed from fresh avocados then lightly refined. Refining creates a light color with a mild flavor and no heavy aftertaste. This oil has a particularly high smoke point so it can be used at high temperatures, even for frying. Avocado oil, like olive and canola oils, is very high in monounsaturated fats and is a good source of Vitamin E. Try Avocado Oil drizzled over fruit, heirloom tomatoes and any kind of salad.

Smoke Point: 500 degrees Fahrenheit

Canola Oil
Our Canola Oil is cold pressed and processed without any of the harmful chemicals, such as hexane, that are used in mass produced oils. Canola oil has become a popular alternative to other oils because of its nutritional profile: it is very low in saturated fat and very high in monounsaturated fat, which may help lower LDL cholesterol. This all-purpose oil is a favorite for light frying, sautéing and baking. Its delicate flavor makes it perfect for dressings, dips and mayonnaise.

Smoke Point: 440 degrees Fahrenheit

Canolive Oil
A purposeful combination of our delicate, cold-pressed canola oil and robust, fruity extra virgin olive oil, this versatile blend offers delicious flavor and healthy fats at a good price. When you want olive oil flavor without the heaviness and cost, our Canolive Oil is the answer. You will love it in your favorite salad dressings and any recipe that calls for olive oil.

Smoke Point: 400 degrees Fahrenheit

Italian Grapeseed Oil
Our naturally extracted and gently refined Italian Grapeseed Oil features a very mild, fruity flavor as well as excellent nutritional benefits. Scientific data suggests that this oil is doubly effective by reducing LDL (bad) cholesterol while increasing HDL (good) cholesterol. Grapeseed oil has a mild, neutral taste, which does not overpower other ingredients, making it perfect for sauces, dressings and marinades. It is also a fine cooking oil, with a smoke point that makes it suitable for light frying.

Smoke Point: 485 degrees Fahrenheit

Roasted Peanut Oil
We have heard grown men and women audibly sigh over the aroma of our peanut oil. Its distinctive flavor results from careful handling of the highest quality U.S. Runner peanuts combined with a proprietary process that extracts a perfectly roasted flavor without any harsh chemicals or heat processing. Use this oil in stir-fries, Asian sauces, marinades and salads. It is great for baking and has an exceptionally high smoke point that makes it ideal for frying.

Rice Bran Oil
This carefully pressed and refined oil is popular in Japanese cuisine because it does not absorb the flavor of other foods. It also keeps well and is perfect for stir-fries, salads and baked foods. Rice Bran oil is also reputed to help improve blood cholesterol levels when used as a part of a sound nutritional program.

Safflower Oil
This expeller pressed oil has a lovely, slightly nutty flavor, making it an excellent choice for a wide variety of recipes including salads and sautés. It is the high oleic variety, meaning it is high in healthy monounsaturated fat and very low in saturated fat

Extra Virgin “EV” Sesame Oil
Made from our own patented process, this extra virgin oil is cold-pressed from only the very finest sesame seeds at low temperatures without chemical refinement. Toasted Sesame Oil
Toasted Sesame Oil is the secret to aromatic and savory pleasures essential to Asian cuisine. It is made from the highest quality sesame seeds that are carefully toasted and cold pressed to produce smooth, deeply flavored oil without a hint of the “burnt seed” flavor found in lower quality oils. Try a few drops of Toasted Sesame Oil in stir-fries, soups and noodles, or drizzle on asparagus, green beans and other vegetables.

Pure American Sunflower Oil Supreme
This cholesterol free, naturally processed oil is an outstanding all-purpose oil for stir-frying, dressing salads, frying and baking. It is an excellent substitute for butter or olive oil in rice and grain dishes or on fresh baked bread.

California Walnut Oil
We use the finest California walnuts to make this delicious, unrefined oil. Garlic Flavored Oil

5 Pepper Hot Oil
A tasty mixture of five hot and sweet peppers is infused into our signature Canolive blend, providing a lot of spice just a few drops.
