USDA Marketing Assistance Program, Republic of Armenia - Straus Communications is participating in the evaluation and development of the first organic pilot project for the country of Armenia. Spearheaded by the USDA's Marketing Assistance Program office, Michael traveled to Armenia and met with a broad spectrum of scientists, farmers, processors and agencies, including the Deputy Minister of Agriculture. USDA Natural Resource Conservation Service - A coalition of government, agricultural and environmental organizations, seeking to preserve the Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary, along California's Central Coast, by working with farmers and ranches in the six counties surrounding the MBNMS, on watershed conservation practices.
Western Australia, Department of Agriculture Coordinated sustainable agricultural tour of the Bay Area for a regional branding and promotion fact finding delegation from Western Australia, which included both farmers and government officials.
