The Monterey Bay National Marine Sanctuary protects over 300 square miles of California’s central coast. The Water Quality Protection Program (WQPP) is a partnership effort to enhance and protect the physical, chemical and biological resources of the Sanctuary and its watersheds.

The Coalition represents six County Farm Bureaus in the development and implementation of voluntary, cost-effective, producer-directed programs to protect water quality in the greater Monterey Bay Watershed. The Coalition’s focus is organizing farmers and ranchers into watershed working groups to voluntarily address water quality.
